Nola only has a few tables, so reservations are recommended. At first, glance it might look like an average pizza shop except they have signs saying no slices. Came here for dinner and was seated at the small table in front of the window. Brought a bottle of red wine since it is BYOB. Started with the arugula salad with grilled shrimp, it was fantastic with a lemony vinegarette. Lots of sharp pecorino romano cheese and fresh arugula. The menu has lots of pasta and italian dishes that looked good, but decided to try the the 16 inch grandpa pie with sausage and long hot peppers. It was delicious, with a thin crust and very spicy. Nola's was a great. Would definitely come back and tey something else from their large menu.

I've ordered from here twice and been so happy with my pizza. We were sad to leave NyC and all the amazing pizza, but Nola's is making us forget about it. I only wish they were open earlier on the weekends. The sauce, the crust, everything is perfect. I recommended it to a friend and her family has already ordered four times in the last two weeks. So good!!

I fell off my low carb wagon and ate pizza for the first time in 6 months bc I needed some comfort food. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. We started w rice balls, and squid. They were great. Then we got (not did because that's not a thing) the pizza with the "hot honey" and sausage. I can't remember the name of it but it was a thin slice square pie that was just out of this world. Never had pizza like that before. Closest was a pizzeria in Salerno on the water late at night. Unique. Dessert was Nutella Zeppole which was exactly like it sounds. There isn't really any kind of ambiance. But really who goes to a pizzeria for ambiance? It's small, nice, clean, friendly. The price was not totally nuts which these days is saying a lot. If you're going here make a res and plan your parking. There's plenty of parking on adjacent streets. Walk thru the St. Anne's lot to Nola's. If you're ordering from here, having done that, I would urge you to eat in bc it's different. However good it is when you take out, it's better eating it right out of the oven.

Good pizza. The angry Nonna was a superb pie that tasted better than the traditional round. This one dish which was soupy and had cherry peppers in it was crazy good.

Fantastic pizza, meatballs, and salad. This was our first time here, was recommended to us. We ate there and the service could not have been any better. We just moved to the area and were relieved to find our go to pizza spot! BYOB was a huge plus.

Friggin strict with orders. You need a reservation for dine in. Their thin pan cheese is their signature pie. Amazing pie. Salad was great. Super fresh. Scratch made dressing and vodka sauce. We will be back.

Amazing, awesome, phenomenal food Mark so personable Service great Make a reservation to dine in

I am so upset it took me so long to find out about this hidden gem. For thin crust pizza, I cannot think of a better place in the area than Nola's. We've gotten their pizza twice, and both times we have not been disappointed. The first time we ordered the Drunken Nonna, half pepperoni for take out. On the weekends, they get very busy with orders so call early to reserve a pick-up time ahead, otherwise you'll be in for a long wait. We placed our order around 3:30 for a pick up time of 5:30. The vodka sauce is DELICIOUS, and they use the tiny pepperoni cups that curl and crisp up. The crust is incredibly thin, so if that's how you like your pizza, this place is perfect for it. The two of us inhaled the enormous pie, maybe leaving behind one slice for later. After our second experience with Nola's, this time dining in, I can say that take out does not do their pizzas justice. While the pizza was still delicious, being so thin, it inevitably softened up in the heat of the closed pizza box when we got it for take out, even after picking it up right on time and only a 5 min drive. Dining in lets you experience it fresh, and sooo crispy. Service was also quick and very friendly. We got the Pizzaiole Speciale, and honestly it was one of the best pizzas I've ever had, NY pizzas included. The sauce has a bit of a sweetness to it, with just a bit of spice. My partner who generally doesn't care for traditional tomato sauces even thought it was fantastic. Don't skip out on the apps either, as the rice balls a la vodka were amazing-- crisp on the outside, fluffy and decadent on the inside, drenched in their perfect vodka sauce. The actual restaurant is very small with few tables, so reservations are definitely recommended for dining in. But it is so worth it. We are looking forward to our many, many future visits to Nola's.

I wanted to try Nola's pizza after reading all the great reviews. I ordered their popular Warrior pie with extra cheese today, and it was so delicious! The crust was light and crispy. The cheese and sauce tasted amazing. The pizza was perfectly cooked. I can see why this place has good reviews. I definitely will be back and try some more of their pizzas. I highly recommend Nola's In Garwood for pizza!

This place is top notch. Great tasting pizza. Friendly service. Relaxing atmosphere. The owner, Mark, is a great guy. We were only visiting, but Nola would be on our list of regulars if we lived close by. Since we were new, we asked Mark what he recommended. He suggested a couple of pizzas that he and his wife eat, so that's what we ordered. The first was a super thin pan with crumbled sausage and red onions. It was fantastic and had great flavor - 10/10. The second was a thin pan with homemade meatballs and onions - 10/10. We highly recommend Nola's. This may be our favorite pizza ever. 10/10.
